INTERIOR AND ATMOSPHERE
Riihitähti is a warm, modern and rustic log villa, where authentic wood, natural light and the tranquillity of the landscape come together in harmony. Through the villa’s 5.5-metre-high panoramic windows, breathtaking views open across Lake Päijänne — stretching up to 40 kilometres into the distance. A living artwork that changes with every season. In the morning, light lingers on the water’s surface; by evening, the view turns to shades of gold and soft blue-grey. The interior combines natural materials with modern finishings. A calm palette of white, brown and grey creates a harmonious, Scandinavian atmosphere that invites you to breathe and slow down. The warm texture of the logs brings a sense of home, while natural light highlights handcrafted details and soft textiles that add warmth and comfort. Every element in Riihitähti has been designed for real living — not for excess, but for considered comfort. Materials are chosen to last, to age beautifully, and to make you feel at ease. ROOMS AND LAYOUT
Riihitähti has been designed for shared moments — for one to three families, groups of friends or company teams who wish to be close to nature yet far from everyday life. The villa accommodates 10–12 guests, and every space is created for comfort: warm light, calm tones and the perfect balance between togetherness and privacy. On the ground floor, the spacious living room welcomes you with a fireplace, soft sofa and a 55” Smart TV — a perfect place to unwind. The dining table seats up to ten guests, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, whether for a simple breakfast, family dinner or festive evening. Two bedrooms on this floor ensure peaceful sleep: one with a double bed (160×200) and another with a loft bed and two lower single beds (80×200), suitable for adults as well. The sauna area, featuring two showers, completes the downstairs and invites you to relax in warmth and silence. Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms. One includes three single beds (80 cm), and the other two beds (80 cm and 90 cm) — rooms where peace and quiet become part of the night. Large windows open to panoramic views across Lake Päijänne, and the soft morning light makes every day begin differently. The terrace, facing the lake and evening sun, becomes a natural extension of the living space during summer. A gas grill and outdoor dining area offer the perfect setting for shared meals and quiet moments surrounded by the Päijänne landscape. From the sauna, there is direct access to Riihitähti’s outdoor hot tub for eight, where warmth and water meet the scenery. When the surface of Lake Päijänne reflects the evening light, a rare stillness settles — the very moment guests come here for: to pause, breathe and simply be.

Mökissä nettiyhteys, mutta modeemi on jemmattu datanousun kaappiin, joka taas heikentää WLAN-signaalia huomattavasti. Yläkerran pienemmästä makuuhuoneesta LAN-johto irti rasiasta ja painunut rasian sisään. Datarasioita ei ole myöskään millään tavalla merkitty, joten linjan päässä olevat rasiat löytyvät vain kokeilemalla.
Keittiön varustelu muuten hyvä, mutta välineistössä pieniä puutteita. Kapustoja ei ole lainkaan ja "kokkiveitset" niin tylsiä, ettei niillä saa edes haavaa sormeen.
Reissumme aikana kylpyhuoneen lattiakaivo ei vetänyt kunnolla.
Näistä kaikista huolimatta annan kyllä suositukset tälle mökille. Ei ole täysin poissuljettu vaihtoehto, että tulisin vielä uudelleen.
Paikassa upea luonto merimaisemineen yhdistyy moderniin huvilaan, josta löytyy sielua ja tunnelmaa kaikilla moderneilla mukavuuksilla. Meriluodon Tähti on enemmän kuin huvila. Ihana turvasatama rauhoittumiseen ja rentoutumiseen.

Upea paikka rauhoittumiseen luonnon helmassa! Huvila on moderni ja tunnelma kodikas ja lämmin. Varustelu hyvä ja toimiva myös lasten kanssa. Makuuhuoneiden isoista ikkunoista meri ja luonto tulevat lähelle. Maisemaa jäi vain katselemaan pitkäksi aikaa täydessä hiljaisuudessa!
A great place to calm down in the heart of nature! The villa is modern and the atmosphere cozy and warm. The equipment is good and also works with children. From the large windows of the bedrooms, the sea and nature come close. The only thing left was to watch the landscape for a long time in complete silence!
