Meriluodon Tähti (6 + 2 beds, villa 100 m2, sauna building 20 m2) is a year-round, unique, modern, new and magnificent archipelago villa with all amenities in the heart of the archipelago in Kustavi. The beach is facing the evening sun and the large landscape windows of the villa and the sauna building offer a magnificent view of the sea. Meriluodon Tähti is a real holiday paradise! You can even go by boat to Åland or take a car tour of the Archipelago Ring Road. The Star of Meriluoto is suitable for you who want to enjoy the unique nature of the archipelago, the meditative influence of the sea, by boats and fishing, relax in the embrace of magnificent nature, but still enjoy your holiday with all the comforts. The renter must be at least 24 years old. So we do not rent this cottage for party use. The villa is at the end of the road, about a 15 minute drive from Kustavi Sale, in a very quiet location. You can also come to Meriluodon Tähti by boat. Neighbors are not close. On the other side there are no neighbors at all, but the plot is bordered by a villa forest, a magnificent, unspoilt archipelago forest with rugged cliffs and humpbacked pines. Due to height differences, this property is not accessible for disabled guests. Pets are not allowed in Meriluodon Tähti. In summer we sell weekly bookings and at other times also weekends and weekly bookings. Meriluodon Tähti is a unique, high-quality, lovely seaside villa, where a holiday is a wonderful and empowering experience due to its closeness to nature.

CONSTRUCTION

We dreamed for a long time that we would also have a wonderful seaside resort in the Turku archipelago among our villas. In our opinion, the Finnish archipelago has the most beautiful seashores in the world! Our dreams started to quickly become a reality when in August 2020 we found a charming seaside cottage located in an incredibly beautiful location on a rugged rocky plot. We had dreamed of a villa with a plot of authentic archipelago nature with cliffs, lichens and humpbacked pines. It was definitely a wish to have a cliff and a sauna building right by the sea, and such were found in Meriluodon. In Meriluodon, nature comes close to people; the swan family flutter in the bay, the tents dive, the fish jump in the ocean, and the cascades chirp just as if they were in the heat of the south somewhere else. We immediately began building a major renovation and extension. The old log cabin, whose history dates back to 1978, underwent a complete transformation and modernization. We changed the heating system to geothermal and turned the old, lovely summer cottage into a year-round, fully equipped, black archipelago villa. The villa is built along the cliffs and from its large landscape windows you can see the sea all the time. We built terraces of about 90 m2. The beach has a spacious 40 m2 terrace, which is great for sunny summer days. The beachfront terrace has a sofa set, bar counter and drinks fridge. Located just over 10 meters higher, the villa has a lavish, almost 50 m2 south-facing terrace with sofa and dining groups and a gas grill in summer. The lovely, seaside sauna building also underwent a complete renovation. The interior and exterior surfaces were redesigned and the sauna room was turned into a real beach house! We wanted huge landscape windows in the sauna chamber so that those staying there could enjoy the immediate vicinity of the sea. The atmosphere is like a sea igloo and the experience is guaranteed! We have invested in Meriluodon Tähti being a year-round holiday destination. We added lighting to the parking lot, paths, stairs and the beach, so it is safe and atmospheric to walk in Meriluodon even in the dark. The nature of the archipelago is amazingly beautiful all year round, be it summer or winter!

DECORATION

Meriluodon Tähti's interior design style is maritime, inviting and modern. The interior colors are crisp white, archipelago black, marine light turquoise and natural sand. The floors are pine plank and, in the extension, light oak-colored vinyl plank. The kitchen is modern matte black. The starting point of the interior is the magnificent nature that surrounds the Meriluodon Tähti everywhere. We expanded the dining room to the side of the old terrace, and installed stunning, large landscape windows to admire the sea and bird life. The starting point for the extension was also that the seascape must play a major role. The sleeping areas are modern and high, and the large landscape windows bring the sea, cliffs, pines and lichens very close by. The second sleeping area has a huge Åland nautical chart on one wall, which is nice for planning summer boat trips. All rooms with beds have blackout curtains on the windows.

DISTRIBUTION

Meriluodon Tähti Villa has 100 m2, and there are beds for six people and two extra beds in the sauna building (20 m2). Meriluodon Tähti is designed to comfortably accommodate one family, and during the week's booking you can even ask a couple of friends to visit the night. The two bedrooms in the extension can accommodate four people and the sleeping area in the living room can sleep two people in a double bed. The villa has two fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the kitchen / dining room. The kitchen is spacious and the closet space is good. The tableware is for 8 people and the dining table seats 8 at a time to enjoy meals by the sea. The living room has a 55 ”Smart TV, sofa, armchairs, coffee tables, fireplace and sleeping alcove. The villa has two toilets and one shower. The large, partially covered terrace can be accessed from both the living room and the entrance hall. In summer, the terrace has a gas grill, a dining group for 8 people, a sofa group and a basket swing. The sauna building (20 m2) is located right by the sea. The sauna can accommodate 3-4 people at a time and the wooden sauna provides gentle steam. In the sauna, washings are done in the Finnish style with pots and knobs, then the shower can be accessed upstairs in the villa. The same building can accommodate two people in an extra bed and this beach house is an exciting place to sleep! The sauna room also serves as an additional dressing room, where you can burn trees in the fireplace and marvel at the sounds of nature. Meriluodon Marina has a high-quality 9-meter pontoon pier made by Marinetek, to which several boats can be moored and a sailboat to the buoy. The depth at the end of the pier is 2.5 to 3 meters. You can swim from the end of the pier or from the beak of the cliff down to the swimming steps. You can sunbathe on the beach terrace or on the warm cliff. Guests also have access to a rowing boat and a few life jackets. The large car park can accommodate several cars and the car park also has an electric car charging station (Type 2). The charging station is available at an additional cost, but in summer its use is included in the weekly rent. The customer brings their own charging cable.
